What a great two days of football! Everyone played well as 19 points is smallest amount of points to decide all the divisional round games. Next weekend looks like another two great games.
Indianapolis at New England (-4)- The two key factors in this game will be the weather and Colts offense ability to not turn over the ball which has been their achilles heel against Patriots in the past. Pats are 3-0 alltime in Championship game while Colts are 1-2. Homefield should once again be meaningless in this one as Manning and co have proven that they can handle any situation. Like I said above, if Manning can handle Bellichick's new wrinkle on defense, Colts will win. Early pick is Colts (+4) 24 Patriots 17
Carolina at Philadelphia (-4.5)- Is the third time the charm for Philly? I think the answer is yes. I can't see Delhomme able to handle Johnson's defensive pressure the way Favre did. With Steven Davis questionable, Foster will play who I think has always been turnover prone in college. Key for Philly's defense without possibly Davis playing will be to pressure Delhomme and take away Steve Smith who is a difference maker. On offense, Eagles will need to be patient and take what Panthers defense gives them. Big advantage for Philly in fact they thouroughly beat Panthers in Carolina earlier in year. I expect Eagles to score early and often in this one, forcing Panthers to catch up where they will fall short. Eagles (-4.5) 28 Panthers 17
Super Bowl: Philadelphia vs Indianapolis
Best of luck.
